A Real Bad Boy

I like bad boys,
but I like the real kind.
Not the little guys
that act bad and
wear bad boy accessories,
like Harleys and bandanas...
But the kind you would never suspect.

He wears black leather
with a gangster spirit
and not with any sense of fashion, An earring- not a skull on a key chain, but a thin loop of silver
you gotta stand close to see.

The kind that has utilized
all of his bad boy qualities
into daily usage:
fast talking
only when necessary, A quiet observer
at most times.

When cornered,
he balances the
gives and takes
of survival well,
treats everyone with the
heart of a lion well-fed,
with eyes that know
he's got the power to
and has in the past,
devoured
humans
whole...

His bad boy blood was
well spent in his youth,
and the pleasures
of malice gone too.
But the memory of it
walks with him
like a bodyguard.
That's the one I like...
that's a Real Bad Boy.
